It is a discreet bird, but very common in large cities. It measures between 16 and 19 centimeters and has gray plumage, with blue and black tones on the wings. It is almost always seen flying in couples or in small flocks through the trees, looking for food and resting places. He usually vocalizes a lot throughout the day. Their diet includes fruits, flowers and insects. It can be easily seen throughout the Campus of Praia Vermelha, having already detected nests of the species within the Campus.
